Youth Scholarship Fund
The Chattanooga USA Dance Youth Scholarship Fund is a new fund established to benefit local student dancers who may need financial assistance in order to pursue ballroom dancing. It is an application-based scholarship. Scholarship recipients will be awarded with funds to go towards their choice of ballroom dancing lessons, admission to dance workshops, or admission to dance camps.
As a chapter we recognize that pursuing ballroom dancing as a hobby or as a career can be difficult financially, especially for students. We believe that as promoters of ballroom dancing, it is our duty to continue to support dancers of all ages and to continue the growth of ballroom dancing here in the Chattanooga area. Over the years, we've seen our population of student dancers gradually decrease; now, it's time to not only expose students to the world of ballroom dancing, but also to ensure that students have the ability to pursue ballroom if they so desire.

Who can apply?
The Chattanooga USA Dance Youth Scholarship Fund is open to students ages 10-23 who are current USA Dance Members.
Application Requirements
All applicants will be required to complete the following:
- Full written application, including relevant essays (see below)
- Volunteering at two separate USA Dance events
After volunteering at an event, the student must obtain a signed student volunteer card from a board member. Two signed volunteer cards should be attached to each student's written application at the time of submission.
